With respect to supporting its services and activities and using information communication technology ESL has been using various systems as they were received and overhauled from former separately functioning companies and creating new systems of its own using its internal capacity and resources.

These systems could be categorized in three types

  1. 1.The two systems that the shipping sector has been using procured from abroad and that were off the shelves.
  2. 2. Major systems that were built by internal capacity to support works of freight forwarding and port and terminal sectors.
  3. 3. Minor systems that helped various activities as well as website and internal information portals that help transmit messages for enterprise customers and employees.

These systems help convey enterprise data and information from into pull of seaport destination, and support the head office and branches major activities as well as day to day operational and related activities as administrative, finance, human resource, procurement and property administration. Moreover they are systems that help convey messages for customers.
